HP Tape Array 5500
Cost-effective backup for up to
five servers in the small data center or large workgroup. Designed
for 19-inch racks, it packs the most drives into the least space-up
to five full-height DLT 80 drives for up to 400 GB storage per array.
Upgradeable to over a terabyte capacity when Ultrium and SuperDLT
drives are available

- Supports software tape RAID on leading backup applications
for extra data integrity and performance.

- Make multiple copies simultaneously and remove tapes for
storage offsite with software RAID.

- Fits in standard 19" racks from HP, Apex, and Rittal.
Fully redundant, hot-swappable components enable easy in-rack
servicing with no downtime.
