The Tandberg DLT7000 offers 70GB* of data storage
capacity at transfer rates up to 36GB* per hour.
This performance makes the Tandberg DLT7000 the
ideal choice for mid-range computers, network servers, high-end
workstations and mainframe environments utilizing Windows NT, NetWare,
and UNIX operating systems.
The Tandberg DLT7000 has full read and write compatibility
(with the correct cartridge) with all current and previous DLTtape
products both from Tandberg Data and other manufacturers securing
your investment.
The Tandberg DLT7000 utilizes proven linear
recording technology which includes a precision tape guidance mechanism
and a head design with self cleaning features for reliability, four
channel parallel recording and DLZ compression for performance,
real time read-while-write data verification, CRC, Reed-Solomon
ECC for data integrity, and self monitoring diagnostics and TapeAlert™
to ensure optimum performance.
