Sony DDS autoloaders utilize a compact 8-cartridge magazine with
a unique push mechanism tape transport. The magazine design delivers
reliable automated tape handling while reducing the typical mis-grip
issues associated with other tape transport technologies.

The TSL-S9000L/TB autoloader is built around Sony' s proven DDS-3
tape technology, the SDT-9000 tape drive. The fastest DDS tape mechanism
in it' s class, the SDT-9000 delivers data at sustained transfer
rates up to 2.4 MB/s (with 2:1 compression) while providing reliable
recording with Sony' s patented Super Head Cleaner¦ mechanism.
Full backward compatibility protects your
existing data archives
To secure your investment in data stored on earlier generations
of DDS media, Sony DDS-3 tape autoloaders are fully read and write
compatible with DDS-3, DDS-2, and DDS-1 tape formats.

of network backup applications. Veritasr Backup Exec for Windows
NTr and Windowsr 2000, along with Backup Exec for Novellr NetWarer
