Ideal for IT environments with data-intensive networks,
the Exabyte 430 library delivers high-performance, dependable automated
backup. The Exabyte 430 accommodates up to four VXA-2 or M2 tape
drives and 30 data cartridges, providing continuous, reliable, unattended
data storage options.
The 430 tape library is designed to accomodate either VXA-2 or M2
tape drives. While system architecture, available bandwidth and
budget determine the right drive solution, overall, the 430 library
offers an attractive return on investment.
The 430 occupies just five rack units and two cubic feet, maximizing
valuable data center space. Designed to provide a flexibile automated
storage solution, the library allows users to add drives and cartridges
as their data storage needs grow.
For high-performance SAN environments, the 430 is the industry's
only midrange library with native Fibre Challen interface (M2 only).
This native FC interface eliminates costly, error-prone FC bridges
and reduces performance bottlenecks.
Exabyte's award-winning M2 and VXA-2 drives are field-replaceable,
making them easy to maintain and upgrade, protecting the user's
investment. The intuitive operator interface guides users through
library and drive functions, ensuring an easy to use, highly efficient
storage solution.
