Reactive's Tiger group is recognised as a leader in the field of upgrading data storage for mid-size, legacy computer systems. Because the storage drive unit is typically the least reliable element, Reactive's products and systems can prolong the life of aging computer systems. Our products are used extensively in flight simulators, telephone logging computers, automatic test equipment (ATE), pre-press publishing systems, power utility and SCADA and most other systems that have incurred a large investment in special hardware and unique, non-portable software.
Reactive provides disk, tape and floppy drive emulation products that produce a significant performance improvement over the original drives. Benefits include much higher reliability, greater storage capacity, lower power consumption, reduced cooling requirements, decreased floor space and lower maintenance expenses. By upgrading your present drive to Reactive?s state-of-the-art SCSI based emulation systems you can utilise modern features such as off-line high-speed disk copy, backup to magneto-optical (MO) disk. On-line copy, internal mirroring, and other RAID techniques are also available.
These data storage products are ideally suited for upgrading mini, mainframe, and real-time computer systems. Due to limitations in the original software or hardware, these systems are often unable to migrate to later computer platforms and storage systems. Reactive's storage emulation products provide an economical way to improve data storage without modifications to the computer's hardware, operating system, or software.
